BY BUS

If you prefer to travel to the circuit by public transport, travelling by bus is the best option.

Use the so-called Catch-a-Coach service.

Choose from convenient one-way trips between Melbourne and Phillip Island, with flexible options to suit your schedule.

All services in Melbourne start and end at the Southern Cross Coach Terminal. The one-way tickets cost around $35.

Departure Times for Phillip Island

• Friday: Coaches leave Southern Cross Station from 6:30 to 9:30
• Saturday: Coaches depart between 6:00 and 10:30
• Sunday: Coaches set off from 6:00 to 8:30

Arrive at Southern Cross Coach Terminal within these timeframes to board the next available coach.

Pick-Up Locations

• Melbourne CBD: Southern Cross Station Bus Terminal
• Cranbourne (Sunday): Cranbourne Highway Service Road, in front of KFC (departs at 7:30)
• Clayton (Sunday): Monash University Clayton car park, off Wellington Road (departs at 7:00))

Drop-Off and Pick-Up Points at Phillip Island
All Track Express coaches drop off and pick up at Gate 3 on Gap Road at the Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit, with a few exceptions:

• Thursday: One-way trip departs at 14:00 from Southern Cross Station, dropping off at Gate 1 and then at Cowes V/Line Bus Stop (Thompson Ave/Chapel Street).
• Monday: One-way trip picks up from Cowes V/Line Bus Stop at 11:00, followed by Gate 1 at 11:30.

Return Trips from the Circuit

• Friday and Saturday: Coaches leave between 15:30 and 17:30
• Sunday: Coaches depart between 1:00 PM and 17:00

Please ensure you reach Gate 3 before the circuit gates close to catch the last coach back to Melbourne.

Shuttle

To ensure convenient transportation for fans attending the race weekend, shuttle buses operate on both Saturday and Sunday, covering two main routes: Cowes Event Shuttle Run and San Remo Event Shuttle Run. Here are the key details:

Cowes Event Shuttle Run

• Route: From various stops in Cowes to the Phillip Island Race Circuit.
• Major Stops:

1. Cowes Esplanade (outside the Continental Hotel).
2. Church Street (opposite Anchor Belle Caravan Park).
3. Main Stop at Cowes Bus Terminal on Chapel Street.

• First departure to the circuit: 8:00 am from Main Road (Ramada Resort).
• Last departure from the circuit: 5:30 pm at the Phillip Island Race Circuit.

San Remo Event Shuttle Run

• Route: From San Remo to the Phillip Island Race Circuit.
• Major Stops:

1. Silverwater Resort (outside on Phillip Island Road).
2. Cape Woolamai Vine Stop.
3. Tourist Road stops near Bridge View Motel and Burnt Island Winery.

• First Departure: 7:55 am from Silverwater Resort.
• Last departure from the circuit: 5:30 pm at the Phillip Island Race Circuit.

Ticket Prices

• Day Ticket: $15 per person.
• One-Way Ticket: $10 per person.
• Children aged 15 and under travel free when accompanied by an adult.
